Delayed coming out of Amsterdam on IcelandAir for 2 hours and missed the days only connection to our US home airport. Claim initially denied because of air traffic controllers strike. However, about 5-6 months later, ClaimAir contacted me to say my claim was reopened by some European administrative body, and that my claim was now approved. Being from USA, we are not familiar with the European rules of compensation for air delays. Glad I went to ClaimAir. They earned their fee.
