Not only I was delayed for 8 hours in Barcelona, but my stopover in Amsterdam was rerouted to... hell on earth, New York JFK. Anyone who has experienced a stopover in the US knows its an excruciatingly painful experience. I got home in Montreal at midnight instead of an early afternoon!

I was also shocked when I contacted the airline and they basically said there was nothing to be done (they are quick to offer you some small "gift" as long as you sign that you accept not to pursue the matter further)! ClaimAir told me they would take care of this and although I was skeptical, I saw I had NOTHING TO LOSE. And to my amazement, almost a year to the day, I got 450 Euros!! Thank you, ClaimAir, absolutely amazing!
